Hey everyone!
So, I decided to post one or two update pictures of our foyer. Fall is here and that means we move the wood rack into the house. My son welded up a new one, since the one we got at the (unnamed) farm store only lasted 2 seasons.
I also added a lamp, and it warms up the entryway so nicely.
When you walk through the foyer into the great room, the wood stove is on your right.
The dining room is beyond it and the living room area is to your left.
I have my grandma's china hutch, along with the dishes we used many years around the Sunday lunch table. I have added my own china as well.
Behind the dining table is our bar. I love how it opens up the kitchen area, and makes a nice place for company to sit while I'm finishing up dinner!
We have had our dining table since we had a house fire just 2 years after we got married. It's very solid.
Our sitting area is a little snug, but we make up for that with the game room upstairs. I have wanted to switch the dining and living areas, but John says he designed the house that way so we can have lots of company around our dining table!
And that's it for the living, dining room! Next time I'll show you our master!
This place looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteI tremendously enjoy living in a container home. In general, container homes are inexpensive, efficient, and their environmentally friendly structures make for a truly unique place of residence.
ReplyDeleteStill, like very much all major projects, it's absolutely vital to anticipate every single snag that could get in your way. So be sure to plan ahead to ensure that your shipping container home project gets done right.
If you need some help with your project, figure out the snags and all, then you should take a look at this. Perhaps what it has to offer would be something that actually fits your need.
